Today, months shy of my 38th birthday, I’m a published author and entrepreneur experiencing success in wealth, health, and love beyond my wildest dreams. I started by returning to the things I loved as a child, one of which was writing.

My first book, “Lawyers, Lies and Labradors: One Woman’s Search for Truth” captures my journey to heal my spirit and revive the wonder and magic from my childhood while monetizing my passion and helping others unlock their full potential.

I often get asked, “How did you find the time and energy to write a book while also building a new business?

The answer is easy: I found my flow.

Flow is the term used to define that optimal state of consciousness when the Self vanishes and performance peaks. It’s the moment when you become completely absorbed in what you’re doing. Time and space disappear, and you’re immersed in a feeling of energized focus and full enjoyment.

I love to geek out on neuroscience and peak performance and have studied flow extensively. I also know from personal experience (as well as from articles and books I’ve read) how proximity to water increases performance, reduces anxiety, and increases calmness and success.

It was June 2019, and I heard myself repeatedly saying, “I want to write a book this year”. I realized it wasn’t going to happen unless I made writing a book a priority in my life. Everything begins with a decision, and I decided I was going to make writing a book in 2019 a priority.

Next, I had to decide what makes my book a priority meant to me and what it looked like for my life and business. I knew if I had uninterrupted time by the water, I would drop into flow and could write my book quickly; I knew the words would flow easily and effortlessly when I was inflow.

So, I cleared my schedule for four days every month from July to December and booked a room at the San Luis in Galveston, my favorite waterside hotel within driving distance of my home in Houston. For those four days each month, I wrote. I had no agenda except to be by the water and to write.

My book was published in late December and launched on Amazon on January 17, 2020. www.KeveneyEvanne.com.

The most exciting thing about writing my book was that I finally put to words my own process for helping others drop into flow; I combine universal law, ancient healing technologies, and cutting-edge science to create unlimited success for those that seek a higher version of themselves.

Whether you want to write a book, increase the love and happiness in your life or create more success in business, the formula is the same—you’ve got to find your flow.
