Incentive Pay for Recruiting Teachers

The district has developed an initiative to motivate current Aldine ISD employees to take part in recruiting teachers. AISD is offering incentive pay for recruiting teachers. While there are criteria to meet, current employees could receive anywhere between $300 to $1,000. Some district-level staff members are not eligible, and school principals can recruit for other schools, not their campuses.

Employees can visit the Human Resources link to read the details about the incentive pay program, or click on the image to the right. Please read the document for all the criteria that need to be met to earn the incentive pay. If you have questions, please submit your questions on our Let’s Talk platform.

“HR is working diligently to fill positions,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Javier Villarreal. “With the coronavirus pandemic, we have had to adjust to how we recruit teachers. We are excited about the Virtual Teacher Expo. We are also encouraging staff, especially educators, to take part in the incentive pay for recruitment initiative. Educators can help us find the best teacher for the job.”
