Local Company Seeks to Donate Tools to Comfort Children

The COVID-19 crisis is a challenging time for families, especially the children. Early Childhood Specialties (ECS) offers a book and toy set that helps to soothe children’s anxieties and is currently giving a free fidget toy with purchase. To help quickly deliver these emotional support tools, ECS is seeking to partner with non-profits as it does with The Plans He Has for You Ministries, a Texas mission serving a school for orphans near Nairobi, Kenya.

This year we are thrilled to be taking more eepworm books and toys to a newly adopted school, along with a gift of eepers from ECS.”

ECS is offering a discount to other non-profits to get their cuddly eepworms into the hands of stressed youngsters. “With their parents coping with the challenges of COVID-19 and unable to attend school or play with friends, children are needing extra comfort. Our eepworms can provide that,” said Diane Goyette, Founder of ECS and a child development specialist. “The free fidget toy gives them another coping tool to hold or to share with a friend – from a safe distance, of course!”

For more information about ECS’ eepworm book and toy set and the free fidget toy offer, visit www.earlychildhoodspecialties.com/eepworms. Non-profits should contact Diane Goyette at www.earlychildhoodspecialties.com/contact-us.html for discounted prices.  Diane and Corinne are available for interviews and presentations.

ABOUT EEPWORMS:  Diane’s daughter Corinne Goyette wrote and illustrated My Friend EEPWORM to introduce children to the soft, air-filled comfort toys that helped her through her own struggles with intense emotions as a child. The story and tactile toy are particularly reassuring for children like her who have mental health conditions such as autism and ADHD.
