The GHWCC SBA Women’s Business Center (GHWCC SBA WBC) is an economic development center that prioritizes programs and services that empower small businesses to succeed. The GHWCC SBA WBC provides resources and tools for business owners to gain access to creating valuable business relationships, certification, contracts, education, and access to capital to ignite and fuel growth, thus building strong communities.

The GHWCC SBA WBC provides workshops and events to build capacity, make connections and overall elevate entrepreneurs’​ business acumen to remain competitive in the marketplace. The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber hosts the GHWCC SBA Women’s Business Center. We partner with many organizations including the City of Houston Office of Business Opportunity SBDC programs through Lone Star College, Lee College, and San Jacinto Colleges. The GHWCC SBA WBC and the GHWCC have chapters in Baytown, Bay Area, Central Houston/Energy Corridor, Southwest Houston/Fort Bend and The Woodlands/North Houston to better serve our region.
The GHWCC is the premier women’s business organization in the greater Houston region. The GHWCC SBA Women’s Business Center will expand opportunities for small business owners to succeed. The GHWCC is recognized locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally as a leader in the development of programs and policies affecting small, minority and women’s business ownership.

Programs

The GHWCC SBA WBC program offers monthly business workshops that provide resources and tools designed to educate the start-up business owner on what it takes to be a successful business owner.

The GHWCC SBA WBC Entrepreneurial Trainings cover a variety of relevant topics that are key to the success of a small business owner that include distinguished and informative speakers and panelists to build capacity, make connections and elevate entrepreneurs.
