In these unprecedented times, we are reminded on a daily basis that no one is promised tomorrow.
As leaders living in a world where the only constant is change, now, more than ever, we need to be flexible and quick to pivot our steps as we lead into the future. In the book, “Leader Shift” by John C. Maxwell, he writes, “You cannot be the same. Think the same. And act the same, if you hope to be successful in a world that does not remain the same.” One of the most important ways we can achieve this is by making an impact on others that leads to real transformative change. We must think beyond the here and now. We must lead in such a way that inspires others to think beyond themselves and look for opportunities to help. We are only one person but imagine what we could do if we lead others to live and work, continually inspired to make an impact … to leave a legacy.
