LEADERSHIP UNDER PRESSURE
Economic and Community Development professionals continue toface an array of challenges to keep the train on the tracks. Economic development organizations, cities, counties, chambers, practitioners, elected officials and volunteers are now faced with addressing immediate needs while also tasked with visionary planning. This two-day course will take a diverse and complicatedset of economic development issues and take the class throughthe process of assessment, collaboration, decision-making, resource identification and solution development. Participants will learn new skills to efficiently tackle a challenge or opportunity head-on while developing viable solutions and a path forward. All topics are advanced in nature, designed for boisterous group activities, intense dialogue and filled with detailed scenarios and case studies for transferability. Teams will be changed for each scenario for maximum exposure to different viewpoints, personalities, approaches and consensus building.
