The Small Business Administration has officially expanded the number of lenders in its 7(a) loan program for the first time in more than 40 years, part of its effort to increase its lending to underserved populations.
Three companies — Arkansas Capital Corp., Alaska Growth Capital BIDCO Inc. and Funding Circle — will each receive a Small Business Lending Co. license after the SBA lifted a longstanding moratorium on issuing new licenses.
