Looking Ahead: A New Era in Energy Education
Starting this fall, the Energy Education Foundation is excited to launch the next chapter in our educational journey with EnergyXP. For over 20 years, we have been dedicated to empowering students through hands-on STEM experiences, early insights into oil and gas and guidance on career paths in energy. Now, EnergyXP takes that legacy further by building on the success of our former mobile STEM education program with a fully redesigned, interactive experience tailored for middle school students. With upgraded technology, a fresh and engaging curriculum and an integrated app-based platform, EnergyXP combines the latest advancements in both energy technology and teaching methods. It is designed to create a more relevant and enriching learning experience that meets students where they are.
EnergyXP offers 16 hands-on and digital STEM activities aligned with national education standards, sparking curiosity, collaboration and critical thinking. Each activity connects energy concepts to real-world applications, showing students how energy science shapes the world around them. This innovative program aims to build strong STEM foundations and inspire the energy leaders of tomorrow by making energy education both accessible and exciting.
