Texas marked the strongest job growth in the nation over the past year, with the state adding 168,000 jobs and setting record highs for its labor force, total Texans working, and nonfarm employment. Governor Greg Abbott attributed the leadership in job gains to Texas’s business-friendly climate and said the state will expand career and technical training to support continued workforce growth.
