Texas Tech’s No. 21-ranked Lady Raiders have signed 7-foot-1 center Stephanie Okechukwu from Umunneochi, Nigeria, adding what could be the tallest player in women’s college basketball history to their roster and bolstering their interior presence. Okechukwu, who played high school ball in Japan, speaks three languages, plans to major in business, and is awaiting NCAA eligibility clearance before making her debut for the Lady Raiders.
