Baytown Business Development Organization for Women

The Baytown Business Development Organization for Women Entrepreneurs

According to the last census, which a decade ago, women-owned 40% of Houston’s small businesses. That’s a big chunk of our economy. However, women entrepreneurs still face unique challenges.

The GHWCC offers a variety of resources with those challenges in mind. The GHWCC hosts programs and conferences where members can learn how to build productive business relationships and increase their company’s (and their own) visibility.

Our LAUNCH resources for entrepreneurs include:

  • Accelerators/Incubators
  • Business Operations
  • Continuing Education
  • Customer Engagement
  • Human Resources
  • Personal Development
  • Procurement/Certifications
  • Strategy and Management
  • And more.

We also are proud of our LAUNCH Fund. This is Houston’s first revolving fund for small business loans.
