To say that Lauren Rottet is a whirlwind in design may well be an understatement. Maintaining Rottet Studio offices in Houston, New York, and Los Angeles, the Interior Design & GHWCC Hall of Fame member leaves no category untouched—from hotelscruise ships, restaurants, and residences to corporate headquarters for high-profile talent agencies, banks, and financial firms.

Rottet’s design acumen extends to furnishings as well, spanning the spectrum from case goods to seating, tables, and lighting—which brings us to her latest accolades: three Good Design awards from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design for the Lyda sofa for Haworth, the Fascio collection of LED lighting for Visual Comfort & Co., and the Crossbeam table for Nucraft. Common to all? The extreme elegance and polish that is Rottet herself.

These latest honors up Rottet’s Good Design total to seven. She is also a past recipient of awards from Interior Design’s Best of Year, Gold Key, AIA Houston and Los Angeles, Condé Nast Traveler, and CoDA honors.
