High School Scholarship Application

Choose one (1) essay question and answer in no more than two typed written page (double-spaced). Scholarship Essay must be typed, double spaced, and a maximum of 2 pages in length. Please review grammar and spelling prior to submission. Attach additional page if necessary. 1. Describe a difficult moment in your life and how you dealt with the situation? 2. What is the greatest lesson you have learned in life and how did it change your personality? 3. How will your Degree be an asset to Society?

I certify that to the best of my knowledge that the information contained in this statement is correct and complete. I understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that all supporting documentation (transcript, etc.) is received by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GHWCC), by Friday, April 5, 2024. I understand that any information submitted may be verified and I further give permission for any information submitted to be verified. I understand that scholarship money will be sent directly to the college of recipients of the GHWCC Scholarship, upon acceptance and attendance at the University and must be requested in writing by October 31, 2024. I also understand that I must attend the International Conference for Women on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in order to receive this scholarship.
