Houston might have lost some of its color and quirk after the Art Car Museum closed in April. But a donation from the late founder’s family is putting the famed museum en route to a revival.
The family of Ann O’Connor Williams Harithas, who established the museum in 1998, has donated $1.25 million to the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art to house the art car collection of the late museum founder, philanthropist, curator and artist.
