The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GHWCC) hosted an inspiring Bay Area Chapter Luncheon on Thursday, October 23rd at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, featuring the Women in Healthcare Panel facilitated by Catherine Sharpe, Vice President of Business Development at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake.
The event brought together a dynamic panel of healthcare professionals representing diverse perspectives in breast cancer care, including a physician, a breast navigator, a patient, and the Director of Oncology. Together, they shared impactful stories and insights surrounding prevention, treatment, survivorship, and the power of compassion in care delivery.
Attendees gained a deeper understanding of how collaboration across roles—from clinical to community—strengthens outcomes and supports patients and families navigating their cancer journey. The discussion also underscored the importance of ongoing innovation and connection among healthcare leaders working to improve the lives of women across the Bay Area and beyond.
