By the time Bernadette Davis decided to launch her own communications company in 2014, she already had amassed 20 years of experience in public affairs, communications and media with Walt Disney World Resort, Florida A&M University College of Law and Cox Enterprises.
After relocating with her family to Plano, Texas, Davis realized she wanted more flexibility in her work life, so she formed Bernadette Davis Communications with the goal of having 20 hours of paid work weekly.
