The British American Foundation of Texas (BAFTX) is a Houston-based nonprofit that provides scholarships to underserved Texan students attending college in Texas, ensuring they can pursue higher education and graduate. BAFTX scholars are smart and ambitious STEM and business majors but face the growing gap between the cost of college and federal funding. Since 2007, BAFTX has awarded nearly 1,200 scholarships, including 123 this year alone and a dedicated Women in STEM scholarship.
