Forbes has released their 2025 AI 50 List, recognizing the most promising privately-held companies applying artificial intelligence to solve real-world challenges. This year, Forbes received 1,861 submissions—making this year one of their most competitive yet. Included in the spotlight was Anysphere, more commonly known as Cursor, that raised $75 million in total funding from Andreessen Horowitz, Thrive Capital, and OpenAI startup Fund and was last valued at $400 million.
