Texas is investing $3.2 million to revitalize Galveston’s major roadways, including Broadway, I-45, Seawall Boulevard and other state-maintained routes across the island. The project includes landscaping, tree removal and pruning, and irrigation repairs, with work planned through the end of 2027 as part of a broader effort to enhance Galveston’s appearance for residents and visitors.
