GHWCC Honored to Support the HBJ’s Women Who Mean Business Awards

Houston, TX — October 23, 2025 — The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GHWCC) was honored to support the Houston Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Awards, an inspiring event celebrating Houston’s most accomplished and influential women leaders.
The evening brought together executives, entrepreneurs, and community changemakers from across the region to recognize women who continue to break barriers, shape industries, and make a lasting impact in their communities.
The GHWCC is especially proud of Pat Mann Phillips, who was honored with the Women Who Mean Business Lifetime Achievement Award. Pat’s visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to empowering women exemplify the values and mission of the Chamber.
Representing GHWCC at the event, Shayla Bowden, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, shared her appreciation for being part of the celebration:
“It was incredible to be in a room filled with such powerful, purpose-driven women,” said Bowden. “Events like this remind us of the strength and unity that come when women support one another and celebrate each other’s success.”
The GHWCC team also expressed heartfelt thanks to their table guests for joining them in celebrating the honorees and supporting women’s leadership across Houston. The connections and conversations shared throughout the evening reflected the Chamber’s ongoing mission to empower women and foster collaboration in business and the community.
