Houston, Texas — June 19, 2026 — The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 2026 Year-End Love What You Do Celebration, recognizing the impact of the Chamber’s Education Committee and its signature Love What You Do high school and college program.
Led by Education Committee Co-Chairs Joyce Jones, Community Volunteer; Dr. Diana Pino, PhD, Capstone Higher Ed Services; and Brandee Rogers, Hines, the Love What You Do program supported and inspired the next generation of women leaders by connecting female students with professional mentors, career exploration opportunities, and scholarship support.
Through partnerships with eight school districts, GHWCC awarded two scholarships per district to deserving female graduating seniors. These scholarships recognized students’ achievements, leadership potential, and commitment to pursuing higher education and meaningful careers.
The Love What You Do program also provided female high school and college students with hands-on job shadowing experiences. During the program, students shadowed professional women in careers related to their fields of interest or study and networked with women who offered expertise, advice, and unique insights.
For college junior and senior women, the program provided a meaningful opportunity to shadow leaders in their chosen fields and receive one-on-one mentorship. Students gained firsthand insight into the daily responsibilities, challenges, and rewards of professional careers while building confidence and expanding their networks.
GHWCC extends special thanks to Dress for Success for its support of the Love What You Do program and its continued commitment to helping women and young women build confidence, prepare for professional opportunities, and achieve success.

The 2026 Year-End Love What You Do Celebration brought together students, mentors, educators, school district partners, Chamber members, and community leaders to celebrate the program’s success and the bright futures of the students it serves.
