Before Jennifer Garner reprised her role as Elektra in a cameo appearance in “Deadpool & Wolverine,” the star stepped up her already intense workout routine.
“As this impossible dream became reality, my bestie and OG stunt double @shaunaduggins and I amped up our training, led by @bethjnicely at @thelimitfit: 1x/day, plus whatever homework she assigned for a second workout,” the actor recently shared on Instagram.
Garner’s workouts involved boxing three times a week and “lots and lots of” time on her Peloton bike.
“We had #SuperHeroSummer over here, twirling sais in the backyard and laughing at our sore old bodies,” the 52-year-old captioned a video of herself training for the role.
