The U.S. Small Business Administration is proposing an overhaul of its size standards that could classify more than 110,000 additional companies as small businesses, giving them potential access to SBA loans, federal contracts and other resources. The changes would also simplify industry classifications and raise size thresholds, allowing growing businesses to expand further without losing valuable small-business benefits.
