A unique and celebrated community of South Korean women called the Haenyeo are freedivers who collect sea urchins, abalone, and other seafood from the ocean floor. These women dive year-round with no other equipment than a wetsuit, sometimes diving up to 60 feet over the course of four to five hours a day!
