Vol. 7: Finding Meaning in the Chaos
What Chaos Can Teach Us
Life rarely unravels all at once.
For me, it came in two waves — first a divorce, then cancer. Each time, I thought I’d“find balance again.” Each time, I learned that chaos wasn’t the enemy — it was the
invitation.
I used to think meaning came from order — from plans, predictability, and progress. Butwhat I’ve discovered (and what seventy interviews have confirmed) is that meaning often comes through disorder. When life shakes us, it strips away what’s nonessential — and what remains is often what truly matters.
If you’re in a season that feels messy, uncertain, or out of sync, please know: there’s nothing wrong with you.
You’re just in motion. You’re rebalancing.
And somewhere in that process, meaning is quietly forming.
These lessons are guiding how I’ll approach the upcoming holiday season—because chaos doesn’t pause for December. But neither does meaning.
→ A takeaway for your week: You don’t need to find perfect calm to feel grounded. You just need one clear next step — one small rebalancing move — toward what matters most right now.
Because life won’t stop shifting. But you can learn to move with it — and that’s where peace begins.

Until next time,
