Houston-based Venus Aerospace is expanding its leadership team following a $91 million Series B, adding experienced executives from government, defense and technology to help scale its hypersonic propulsion technology. The company is also partnering with Lockheed Martin to evaluate its rotating detonation rocket engine for defense applications, with the technology designed to enable vehicles to travel four to six times the speed of sound.
