Our Women Supporting the Arts Committee had an enriching visit to the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (HCCC), where Leila Cartier, Executive Director, and Sarah Darro, Curator of Exhibitions, guided us through diverse artist galleries featuring local talents and global figures. The committee enjoyed learning about HCCC’s curatorial efforts exploring both traditional and experimental material approaches, as well as their commitment to engaging new audiences, promoting diversity, and fostering meaningful scholarship through research and collaborations.
