The Women Supporting the Arts Committee held their monthly meeting learning more about The Menil Collection, a museum and neighborhood of art spanning 30 acres in the heart of Houston. The Committee was hosted by Carolina Borja, Corporate Giving Officer, who gave us a tour of the Menil’s internationally renowned permanent collection and the temporary exhibition, Chryssa & New York, featuring the Greek-born artist Chryssa, who was acclaimed for her adoption of industrial materials and early work with neon light. Following the tour, we dined at Bistro Menil, and experienced a delicious meal which we highly recommend for business lunches or dinners.
