HONORING WOMEN LEADERS WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED SIGNIFICANTLY TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF WOMEN AND IMPROVED THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS OF HOUSTONIANS.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, I am writing to request your donation of a silent auction item to be included in the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame Gala Auction. The Texas Women’s Hall of Fame Gala celebration will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2024, at the Royal Sonesta Hotel at 6:30 pm.  We expect over 500 business leaders to attend the event, giving you great visibility as a supporter of  the advancement of women.

With your generous donation of an item with a value of $200 or more, you will receive the opportunity to place an ad in our newsletter, The Connection, that has over 20,000 business leader subscribers.  With a donation of $500 or more, you will receive the opportunity for two ads in The Connection. And with a donation of an item valued at $750 or more, we will publish an article about your business in the Connection in addition to the two ads outlined above.

The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business organization of highly influential and diverse women and men dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of women and girls through avenues of leadership, education, advocacy, and mentoring representing over 1200 member businesses.

Proceeds from the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame Gala benefit the Chamber’s diverse work in our community including Women On Board, an initiative to help women become board-ready, SBA Women’s Business Center, a program to help entrepreneurs start and/or expand their business, stabilize, and increase their incomes, STEAM Town USA, an initiative to increase the exposure of third grade girls to math and science through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) concepts and encourage girls to pursue STEAM careers; and our scholarship program providing scholarships for deserving female students graduating from Aldine, Conroe, Fort Bend, Houston, Spring, and Spring Branch School Districts to attend a Texas college of their choice.

Thank you for your consideration and for your support of the advancement of women and girls.

Regards,
