Alexandra Pruner serves as an independent director on the Boards of NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NRG); Plains All American (NYSE: PAA & PAGP) as well as CPPIB-backed Encino Acquisition Partners. A founding partner of the energy investment bank Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., Ms. Pruner also serves as a Senior Advisor to that investment bank and its parent, Perella Weinberg Partners following her retirement from the combined firm in 2018 where she served as CFO.
Ms. Pruner’s extensive energy background also includes having served as Publisher of the industry technical journal World Oil, as well as 10 years at operating companies, including both an upstream firm (Houston Exploration) and midstream/gas utility (NUI Corporation), where she headed investor relations and related activities. Early in her career, Ms. Pruner also spent six years at Shearson Lehman Brothers in NYC.
Active in community and industry affairs, Ms. Pruner was the founder of the Women’s Global Leadership Conference in Energy, now in its 15th year. She is a frequent speaker on the topic of inclusiveness. Ms. Pruner serves on the Executive Committee and Board of the United Way of Greater Houston, as well as the Houston Zoo. She currently serves as the President of the Brown University Advisory Council for the Economics Department (where she earned her BA).
