Dancie is founder and principal of Dancie Perugini Ware Public Relations (DPWPR) a collaborative all-female firm based in Houston and heralded as one of the most notable in the Southwest. Her dynamic, innovative 23+ member firm represents a broad mix of Fortune 500 global brands and privately held corporations.
Active civically throughout her career, Dancie currently serves on the Development Board of the University of Texas Medical Branch; Board of Directors, Houston Police Foundation; Advisory Board of the University of Texas Moody School of Communications; and the University of Texas Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee. Dancie serves as life trustee of Galveston’s Rosenberg Library.
Dancie has been recognized as a Woman on the Move by Texas Executive Women; March of Dimes Volunteer of Distinction; Houston Woman of Distinction by the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation; Best Dressed Hall of Fame by the Houston Chronicle; and as Community Champion by Texas Children’s Cancer Center. In 2019 she was honored as a “Trailblazing Woman” by the Houston Area Urban League.
