Heather Betancourth is originally from Houston and currently resides in Baytown. She has a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and a Master of Science in technical communication. She currently works as a community relations specialist in the oil and gas industry. She serves on the board of directors of the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, volunteers for women’s resource organizations, and is a member of Faith Family Church in Baytown. Heather is also an elected official on Baytown City Council, is married to Robert and step-mother to his four children. She loves traveling, outdoor activities, and has three rescue dogs: Lucy, Lola and Luna.
