Jeanne-Mey Sun, Ph.D., is Executive, Energy Transition and Clean Energy Solutions at Baker Hughes Company, the global energy service and equipment provider. Prior roles include Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Baker Hughes, Inc., Vice President, Strategy at Sysco Corporation, the global foodservice marketer, distributor, and supply chain company, and Principal at global management consultancy A.T. Kearney, where she served clients in multiple industries including consumer products, retail, and automotive. Dr. Sun earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe in Brugge, Belgium, and a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from the University of Toronto. She is active in the Houston community, including serving as an advisor on the Rice Alliance Energy Advisory Board, serving on the board of the Houston Hispanic Forum, serving as a mentor to energy-focused start-ups at accelerators at Rice University and the University of Houston, and acting as a judge in the annual Rice University Business Plan Competition. She has also consulted for the Center for Houston’s Future, the long-range strategic planning arm of the Greater Houston Partnership, where she is also a member of the Executive Women’s Partnership sub-committee.
