Since 1997, Linda Nelson has been with Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center, a 397 bed acute-care hospital.
Linda completed her undergraduate degree in Business at West Virginia Wesleyan College and her MBA at Texas Women’s University.
Wanting to stay involved in the community that she both lives and works, Linda has been active in her role at The Woodlands Area Chamber currently serving as the Vice Chairman. Linda is also dedicated to Leadership Montgomery County (LMC), The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber and the Economic Development Partnership. She has earned the following recognitions: Hometown Hero, The Woodlands Area Chamber Citizen of the Year, LMC Distinguished Alumnus Award, IRONMAN Captain of the Year, The Woodlands Area Chamber Chairman’s Award and the Montgomery County Women’s Council on Organizations’ Woman of Distinction.
Linda was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to the Houston area in 1980. She has been married to her husband, Gordon, for more than 39 years. Together, they have three children living in Houston and Austin. Other than spending time with family, you can find Linda playing racquetball, on the golf course or fishing.
