Modern Meditation Opens For Business!

With the assistance of the GHWCC Women’s Business Center, Simone Stewart, owner of Modern Meditation, will launch her business on Saturday, April 23rd. Modern Meditation is the new hot spot for meditation. The sanctuary nestled in the Rosenberg/Richmond area offers Meditation, the Art of Kintsugi, Healthy Eating demonstrations, Massage Services with Rest, and quarterly Self Defense classes with Walk like a Warrior. Modern Meditation is also mobile and can bring the services to you!

The meditation space immediately captures your attention with the mesmerizing deep blue sea and gold colors creating an illusion that you’re floating in the ocean. Modern Meditation has two studios – The Room and The Healing Center. The Room is geared toward seated or horizontal meditation. Guests sit on oversized specially designed velvety meditation cushions or blue velvet chairs and drape themselves in weighted blankets or warm lavender scented neck wraps. The Healing Center is designed for group seated or horizontal relaxation. Modern Meditation offers indoor and outdoor areas for meditation and contemplation, a variety of complimentary tea, snacks and water, and a small gift shop with unique gifts.

Simone Stewart, the founder of Modern Meditation, says their average client is “anyone who seeks a more balanced, calm life”. Simone is life-curious, loves to travel and an avid meditation practitioner. She received her Meditation Teacher Training Certification in Mindfulness and Compassion Meditation from The Path. Simone’s belief in the power of ones’ inherent goodness. She loves a curiosity mind and a good adventure. Simone traveled to India for independent studies, and she spent years engaged in intensive study with highly respected meditation teachers.
