Axiom Space announced the launch of Axiom Space Japan, a new subsidiary that will expand the company’s presence across the Asia-Pacific region and provide greater access to low-Earth orbit research, manufacturing, and astronaut opportunities. Led by former Japanese astronaut Dr. Koichi Wakata, the Tokyo-based operation will strengthen partnerships with government, industry, and academic organizations as Japan prepares for the next era of commercial space exploration beyond the International Space Station.
