Heir to the L’Oreal SA fortune and Europe’s richest woman Francoise Bettencourt Meyers has been slated to retire from the L’Oreal board this year. She will be succeeded as vice-chairman by her sons Jean-Victor Meyers and Nicolas Meyers and her board seat will go to current director Alexandre Benais.
