Dr. Jacquie Baly has been re-elected for her second term as Chairperson of the Harris County Women’s Commission. As part of this important work, she was recently invited by Commissioner Lesley Briones to speak at Commissioners Court. Over the past year, the Harris County Women’s Commission held a series of impactful meetings across each of the County’s four Precincts. Each community is unique and brings forward its own set of challenges. Among the key policy issues they’ve addressed are pay equity, access to critical resources, and community safety and security.
