The GHWCC extended a warm welcome to this year’s GHWCC Women on Board Institute Class! Experts Mary Bass from SpencerStuart and Karen David Green from Independent Board of Directors shared their expertise in capital markets, strategy, and corporate governance. Their valuable insights on capital markets, strategy, and corporate governance added tremendous value to our members’ knowledge base. The session was filled with enriching discussions and impactful strategies, leaving everyone feeling confident and motivated. We couldn’t be happier with the success of the session and look forward to many more!
The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Women on Board Institute (WBI) provides the education, tools and valuable resources to prepare executives to become “Board Ready”. The Institute hosts 6 bi-monthly classes, including a weekend retreat. The Institute also provides an individual Hogan Assessment, which evaluates personality characteristics, assesses leadership capabilities, and identifies potential development areas for executives.
WBI provides a professional and provocative forum where topics including board criteria and requirements for board selection will be presented in a confidential setting by professionals and executives skilled in board placement including search firms and executives currently serving on at least 2 corporate boards.
