Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Hosts Sold-Out Intimate Luncheon Featuring Elyce Arons
Houston, TX – September 18, 2025 – The Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GHWCC) hosted a sold-out intimate luncheon on Wednesday, September 17, at Le Colonial, featuring Elyce Arons, Owner of Frances Valentine, Co-Founder of Kate Spade, and author of We Might Just Make It After All: My Best Friendship with Kate Spade.
Arons was joined by Katherine Brodie, Chief Marketing Officer of Frances Valentine, in a heartfelt and inspiring conversation about friendship, resilience, and building an iconic brand. Guests enjoyed a powerful behind-the-scenes look at the decades-long partnership between Elyce Arons and the late Kate Spade, whose creativity and spirit continue to inspire women around the world.
The luncheon was followed by a book signing, where attendees lined up to meet Arons and receive signed copies of her newly released memoir. The book chronicles her nearly 40-year friendship with Spade, from their early adventures to their groundbreaking success in fashion, and the enduring legacy they built together.
