Historic Pacific Crossing by All-Female Rowing Team

British adventurers Jess Rowe and Miriam Payne completed a six-month, 13,000km rowing journey from Peru to Australia, becoming the first all-female crew to cross the Pacific Ocean nonstop and unsupported. The pair sustained themselves by fishing and growing vegetables during the voyage and were welcomed by cheering supporters upon their arrival in Cairns.
