The Dynamo won the U.S. Open Cup Championship, the 4th trophy in team history, last week in Miami and the trophy is making various stops around the city for celebrations with fans, partners and community members. They are thrilled to bring another championship to H-Town and appreciate all of the support we received in the lead up to the final.
While the Dynamo have added one trophy to our collection in 2023, there are two more they are pursuing as both the Dash and the Dynamo are pushing towards the playoffs in their respective leagues. The NWSL and MLS regular seasons are wrapping up and this weekend features the last regular season home match for both teams.

As it relates to the Dash, so many members of the community ask how to better support Houston’s only professional women’s sports team. The answer is simple. Engage with the team, come to matches and watch on TV. Across the NWSL, teams have been breaking attendance records all year and it’s Houston’s turn to show up in full force for these incredible athletes. The Dash are the only NWSL club in Texas which creates a unique opportunity to represent our region on a national stage.
On Sunday night, they’ll host a 90s concert featuring Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc and Rob Base following the Dash match. Similar to the structure of the Rodeo, the stage will be moved onto the field at the end of the game and the performance will begin within 30 minutes. This will be the first concert at Shell Energy Stadium since 2021 with more in the works.
Their annual charity event Boots and Suits will be held on Thursday, October 12 at Shell Energy Stadium. As the signature fundraiser for Dynamo and Dash Charities, this event brings players, coaches and legends together with civic and corporate leaders to showcase our commitment to the community. It’s not too late to attend as just a few tables remain at $5,000 each.
Lastly, please note their new address as HDFC’s HQ is now located at 413 Bastrop St in EaDo. In addition to the various differentiated event spaces inside the stadium, they have a 150 person-capacity lounge on the top floor of our new HQ available for holiday parties and well-equipped with a full bar, catering kitchen and a great skyline view.
