The Summer Olympics is when Texas athletes really shine – there were 13 medalists from Houston alone in Tokyo – but that doesn’t mean the Lone Star State is completely shut out when the Winter Olympics roll around.
There are five athletes who either grew up in Texas or have ties to the state competing in the Winter Olympics in Beijing, which start this week.
