For the first time in over 80 years, hundreds of women from across the globe gathered in Washington, D.C., to try out for the newly launched Women’s Pro Baseball League (WPBL). The four-day camp (August 22–25, 2025) featured drills, performance tests, and a live game at Nationals Park, with 150 players to be selected for the October draft ahead of the league’s inaugural season in spring 2026.
