KPMG’s ongoing mission is to advance more women into the C-suite. As a proud supporter of WomenCorporateDirectors, and women around the world, KPMG invited women in various walks of life to participate in the Women’s Voices campaign which was launched at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on Monday, January 22, 2018. This campaign that aligned with the WEF’s theme is Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World, aims to raise the visibility of the role women play by enabling female leaders to share their vision, aspirations and solutions for building better outcomes and a shared future for all. KPMG International in cooperation with the Global Female Leaders conducted a Global Female Leaders Outlook in order to prioritize – for the first time on a global basis – the views of female leaders.  Finally, for the past four years, KPMG has brought together more than 300 women attendees together at the KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit to not only discuss what barriers to break next, but how to lead the way.

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Women and Minority Faculty Inclusion program’s vision is to be the primary destination for women and minority physicians and scientists in cancer treatment and research in support of MD Anderson’s vision to be the premier cancer center in the world. The program is proudly led by GHWCC Board Member, Dr. Elizabeth Travis. The program includes empowering initiatives such as the Legends and Legacies essays, which chronicle the personal journeys of women physicians and scientists at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Margaret L. Kripke Legend Award, the President’s Leadership Award for Advancing Women and Minority Faculty, and regular lecture series on diversity and inclusion.
