To help address nursing shortage, HCA Houston Healthcare and its affiliate Galen College of Nursing have announced a new state-of-the-art Galen campus will be coming to Houston, Texas in 2023. As a single-purpose nursing college, Galen will increase educational opportunities in the community and help address Houston’s nursing workforce needs ,with projected 194,500 average annual openings for registered nurses over the next 10 years.
