Houston-area Woodforest National Bank has appointed Julie V. Mayrant as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, marking a new chapter for the employee-owned bank after more than 30 years with the organization. A 2021 Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce Trailblazer Award honoree, Mayrant began her career by helping launch Woodforest’s first in-store branch in Conroe and will now lead the bank’s continued growth while strengthening customer relationships and community engagement across its network of more than 740 branches in 17 states.
